  Born in Liverpool aprrox. 15th April, 1866. Baptism 17 June 1866 at St Pauls in Kirkdale, Liverpool. Employed by a timber merchant and was working as a timber clerk when he retired ( in his 70`s). Met and married Maggie Tierney who worked in a pub called the `Jawbone` [It is still there today]. Maggie worked as a cleaner and general help. She had a sister Ellen who had a little shop. They married at `The Sailors Church` [real name was Lady and St Nicholas] at the `Pier Head` [ lovely old chuch - partly rebuilt as it was bombed in 1941]. Married 19th August 1888. Owen and Margaret had 12 childen over a 25 year period from 1889 to 1914 : Robert, Owen, Joseph, Margaret, Elizabeth, Helen, Henry, Ethel, Samuel, John William, Edith, Ada Robert being the oldest born in 1889 and Ada the youngest born in 1914. Also was a Methodist lay preacher at Bankhall Mission(Liverpool). Remarried when about 72 possible at Anglesey.[possibly about 1940]. Died 4th April 1942 in Cemaes Bay, Anglesey, WALES as he had been evacuated there during World War II. Died in Cemaes, burried at Kirkdale Cemetery in Liverpool, section 9 Lot 167, the same lot were his wife Margaret Tierney_Evans was burried on 30th June 1928. ->->Margaret's burial details
