Uncle Harry as many knew him in later years had 11 Brothers and sisters :

Henry arrived in Sydney on 9th Sep 1923 on board the ship, Gallic.
He must have warmed to the look of Australia as by the time he got to Brisbane
he had jumped ship and somehow managed to obtain a "Permit to Sign Articles" from the Commonwealth Government
which effectively allowed him the to stay and work locally.

He married Elsie Crawford on 6th March, 1926 at St Andrews Presbyterian Church in Laman Street, Newcastle.
