02 FEB 1941 10AGH [Aust. General Hospital] - left Sydney on the Queen Mary

18 FEB 1941 10AGH - Queen Mary arrived Singapore.

19 FEB 1941 10AGH travelled by train to Malacca - expanded a British hospital from 400 to 600 beds.

DEC 1941 - Japanese Invasion of Malaya - 10AGH joined the 13 AGH in Jahore Bahru (across the causeway from Singapore)

JAN 1942 - 10AGH moved down to Singapore : Oldham Hall - later expanded into nearby MANOR House

FEB 1942- "All nurses were to be evacuated to Australia"
- 30 sisters left on Empire Star.
- Next group left on Vyner Brook 12 FEB - attacked by Jap bombers on 14 FEB


15 FEB 1942 - "Fall of Singapore"

27 FEB 1942 - Vic listed as "MISSING"

03 JUN 1943 - Vic reported now as POW [Changi]

AUG 1943 - L Force Formed - half day walk into Singapore Train Station.

23 AUG 1943 - L Force left Singapore by train - took 5 days to Ban Pong - Then took barges up Mae Klong River

29AUG 1943 - arrived at Kanchanaburi - Vic spent 1 year 8 months here - No. 2 Coolie Hospital (Dai Ni hospital) - L Force - 4 MO's and 20 OR's - Major Andrews in charge

6 APR 1945

02 SEP 1945 - WW2 officially ended with the signing of surrender documents.

19 SEP 1945 - Vic reported alive in SIAM (Thailand)

29 SEP 1945 - Vic embarked Singapore on the Tamaroa

20 OCT 1945 - Disembarked Sydney

02 JAN 1946 - Discharged from Army
